The biggest innovations in this expansion are that the game revolves around the island of Cantha, and that there is a multiplayer option, for example to take control of a new mount. This mount has the name Siege Turtle.

What do we know about the story of Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons?

The story of this third Guild Wars 2 expansion revolves around the dragon cycle; this is a time period that is very well known in the video game world of Guild Wars, but this world is about to collapse. Dragons play an enormous role in the new expansion of Guild Wars 2, but also the island of Cantha. Next to this, this game has nine Elite Specializations, new boats to travel through the vast lands, but there are also new skills to discover, like fishing. Discover new weapons to wield, and also a new mount; this mount is called Siege Turtle, and it is a multi-player mount. One player can control this turtle, and the other player controls the weapons of this mount.

Cantha is known from Guild Wars: Factions, but gamers who are not familiar with this island will also be able to adapt quickly to this expansion of Guild Wars 2. The island of Cantha is full of colour, spirituality, but is also vast. Cantha is a world that is scary and beautiful at the same time. Cantha is a dynamic world that has futuristic aspirations.

Living World Season 1 is back!

For the first time since its first release in 2013 “Living World Season 1” is back in a story mode that is part of a greater story. In this story there you can play a combination between a story and gaining all sorts of experiences in five separate episodes. The story of Living World Season 1

There is an attack on Dragon Bash. Get your weaponry and skills, and help inspector Ellen Kiel to find out who started all the fighting in, i.e. the second episode of Living World Season 1.

What can we say about the new weapons in Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons?

This expansion would not be a real Guild Wars 2 expansion when there would be no Legendary Weapons involved. In Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons there are sixteen new Legendries to make, for example a sword that is based on Aurene. Its predecessor is Baby Aurene, but there is also an Adult Aurene. All Legendries are based on the newest Elder Dragon, Aurene.

Now that the new release trailer is out, we see more of the story in End of Dragons. The story seems to revolve around the return of the Aetherblades steampunk air pirates that appeared in Guild Wars 2's first Living World season in 2013. Those who played a demo of End of Dragons' Strike Missions took on the leader of the Aetherblades-steampunk air pirates, Mai Trin.

About the Strike Missions in Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons we do not know a whole lot yet. There will be new encounters and missions in this expansion, but these will be fully dedicated to the island of Cantha. Next to this, there will be Challenge Modes for all Strikes.

In the demo we just mentioned, the fight against Mai Trin, it becomes clear that this is optimized endgame content that summarizes raid-like mechanics into one boss fight.

Club Canach

Club Chanach is a fancy classy lounge located in Arborstone. It is a popular hangout already for many players. You can order food and drinks, earn some Canach Coins and bet on Moa races. You will need to unlock this elite social club first if you want entrance.

You will unlock Club Canach once you complete the instance called “Empty”. Once completed, the club is immediately available. You can get there by heading through a tunnel in Arborstone, in the northern part. Get through the portal and unlock the Waypoint behind the portal.

Once there, you can enjoy a nice evening at club Canach! There are merchants that sell a variety of items for Canach Coins or gold. And guess who’s the club’s chef? Daxx! So enjoy delicious food and get some of the recipes along the way, too!

Next to the merchants, you can play at the Canach Says Consoles. This is a memory game that will earn you Canach Coins if completed.

Last but not least, there are 2 events at club Canach: the Moa race and a coin-gathering challenge (8 minutes to gather as many coins as you can).
