Discover the landscapes of West Virginia, which have developed into the most diverse post-nuclear environments.Although you can explore the world on your own, it is more fun to do this together with your friends. Remember, there is no I in Nuclear Wasteland! Surviving and rebuilding, that's what it's all about in this online RPG.
A different kind of S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
You are accustomed to use the Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats to design your character’s abilities. In Fallout 76, this system has been adapted to get the most out of your character and create a play style that suits you the most.
For the ones who aren’t familiar with this system: S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats are the primary attributes that shape your character, depending on your play style. S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stands for:
- Strength
- Perception
- Charisma
- Intelligence
- Luck
These attributes gives you the opportunity to play individually or to be a perfect carrier for your teammates, depending on how many points you put in each attribute.
With each new level you can put one point in one of your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats, after which you can choose a Perk Card that belongs to this particular stat. Don’t know which card to choose? Don’t worry, they remain locked until the next time you level up.
You can also share these Perk Cards with your team whenever you want. To use a Perk Card, you need the asked amount of points in the chosen S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat category.
