Expansion pack Final Fantasy XIV Online
The Stormblood expansion for Final Fantasy XIV Online will introduce a brand-new continent to the fans of the series and especially part XIV; it also introduces two new classes, the first is Red Mage and the second is Samurai.
The end of PS3
The end of Sony’s support for PS3 games is near, because the online services for this specific console will be discontinued soon. The focus of Sony will be on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR, but also on the doubtful future of the PlayStation Vita.
Stormblood’s new characters
The clothed in crimson Red Mage warriors is a class of characters which is mostly focused on destroying the frontlines and they prefer to use STR gear to do so. The Samurai do not have a base class, they immediately start at level 50 in the game.
Novelties
The news that a new expansion was in the works has been accompanied by a trailer of this game expansion. In the trailer one can find the introduction of the actual game. Also, in the trailer, which you can view underneath this article, you can see and feel the look of Othard, one of the main continents on which Stormblood’s story takes place, and you can also see scenes in which the Red Mage and Samurai destroy a great deal of their surroundings. The new base for gamers will be the port city Kugane, and there will be a new residential base called Shirogane. There will also be new dungeons in Stormblood with the name Yanaxia and The Azim area.
Legendary music
When it comes down to the soundtrack of Stormblood we can tell you that Nobuo Uematsu has been re-invited to compose the main theme of this Final Fantasy XIV expansion. The song which he composed is called ‘Revolutions’, and is sung by the well-known singer Susan Calloway.
Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood was released on June 20th 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC.
