What is League of Legends?

League of Legends is a free-to-play online multiplayer battle arena game developed by Riot Games. In this competitive strategy game, two teams of five players face off on a large battlefield called Summoner’s Rift. Each player controls a unique Champion with special abilities and works together with their team to destroy the enemy base, known as the Nexus.
