By the way, this video game is developed by the same team that brought us Final Fantasy, Bravely Default, and NieR: Automata, or in other words “the best developers in real RPG games”.
Special gameplay
Astria Ascending is a great video game that revolves around the stories of an eight character strong demigod team. They are the chosen ones to protect their fantasy world. In this game the demigods have already been fighting for three years when you, as a gamer, enter their story. They are all heading towards an inevitable end, so it seems, but that is not totally true, as you will discover in this game. The story, and how it is told in the game, is exciting and beautifully done. This game starts off very slow, but when it is fired up it really knows no boundaries.
Playable characters
As stated before, there are eight playable characters in this game. Each character has its own personality, skill set, and background story. What these stories are exactly will become clear playing this game. All characters are immediately playable, and they all know each other, since their mission has already been going on long before the gamers start their quest. All characters can be customized with new skills and new items. The way you can upgrade your character is quite extensive, so real RPG fans will find this game quite the challenge as well.
