Duty first!
After a disappointing field trip to warfare in the future the Call of Duty franchise is back by introducing ‘Call of Duty: WWII’, and with this new edition the Call of Duty game franchise finally returns to its roots. The publisher of the Call of Duty franchise, Activision, goes back to basics in Call of Duty: WW2. During the day of days, D-Day, you land in Normandy, and you have to fight your way through a Germany-occupied Europe. During your survival tour you will pass a variety of famous European landmarks and you will experience the most important moments of the Second World War. In Call of Duty: World War 2 you will be part of huge battles, where Call of Duty is known for, you experience the band of brothers type of feeling and the heavy social burden and destruction of war.
The definitive WWII campaign
The graphics of a war-torn Europe are absolutely phenomenal in Call of Duty: WWII, and because of this you get fully engaged in the story of the game. The storyline of the game refers to the most famous battles out of the most significant war years 1944-1945, but there are also many situations of the period 1940-1945 incorporated in the game. In Call of Duty: WWII there is great character development, a phenomenon that is new to the Call of Duty series; you do not only have a playable character, but this character comes with an actual life story, there is a need for this playable character to end the war, and to survive and sustain all the hardships life throws at him during the game. The moment your storyline starts in Call of Duty: WWII is when the allied forces find their way into Germany with the mission to put an end to the war. You get the chance to play an allied soldier who has to fight his way through occupied France, Belgium, and through the river Rhine to get to his final destination Germany.
The frontlines and a mission of victory
In the single-player mode you get in-touch with the French resistance, and all characters you will meet on your mission are lifelike characters who seem to have a real backstory and thus a soul; they fight for their country, they are patriots, and they help your character with fulfilling his mission to liberate Europe. From the beaches of Normandy to the liberation of Paris and far beyond, the characters in Call of Duty: WWII are heroes who do not give up until their country has been liberated.
Cool multiplayer mode
The multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: WWII returns to its roots, the boots-on-the-ground gameplay. Weapons are authentic, and you come across the great battles of the Second World War. During these battles you can also interact with other players within the great Call of Duty community. In Call of Duty: WWII the multiplayer option is an elaborate separate story that is a different gaming experience than the single-player mode, but one thing is for sure: The adrenaline will rush through your head!
Zombie modus
Next to the hyper realistic campaigns with classic Call of Duty stories Call of Duty: WWII also has a zombie mode during which you have to kill zombies in exciting and creepy gaming environments.On Friday the 3rd of November 2017 Call of Duty: WWII will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Later this game will also be released on Nintendo Switch.
