Red Dead Redemption 2 is an action-adventure game with a western theme. This game, that is published by Rockstar Games, will be released on October 26th 2018 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The Story
This game unfolds unravels itself in the North-America of the nineteenth century. The end of the Wild West era has begun. Sheriffs are looking for the last outlaws, criminals and crooks. The ones that do not surrender and the weaklings are being killed…
After a robbery has gone awfully wrong in the town of Blackwater Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang have fled the premises. With the best hunters and federal agents on their backs, the gang has to survive by robbing, stealing, and they have to fight for their own existence in the outback of nineteenth century America. When arguing and fights seem to make the gang totally dysfunctional, Arthur has to keep his sanity and survival skills in order to choose between his own ideals, and his loyalty to the gang that he grown-up in.
Gameplay
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world game. The world around you changes according to your choices in the game. When, for example, you kill someone in this second chapter in the Red Dead Redemption game franchise, and you leave this character in the middle of the dessert vultures, coyotes, and other dangerous animals will find the body.
Next to this, there are slow-motion deaths in this game. During some battles slow-motion camera will be activated. This effect ensures a never seen before movie experience.
Re-occurring characters
The main character in Red dead Redemption 2 is Arthur Morgan. He is a member of the Van der Linde gang. Morgan is a fully new character in the Red Dead Redemption saga. He was not in one of the previous games.
Other characters you can expect in the game are:
- Bill Wiliamson and Javier Escuella: Both gang members in the first Red Dead Redemption.
- Sadie Adler: Also a gang member.
- Dutch van der Linde: A gang is nothing without its chief.
- And new characters: Lenny, Karen, Micah Bell, Sean McGuire and Pearson.
