Something like the traditional Mario, but with your own levels. Choose your enemies, obstacles and rewards in Super Mario Maker 2. Make the trail of your dreams: from cannons that shoot coins, to sliding off bad guys from the map. Make a combination of different parts to create a whole new obstacle. You can create the craziest, funniest and most unique courses that you will not find in regular Super Mario games. Super Mario Maker was already a success, now it's back with brand new features and obstacle options!
Story Mode
Story Mode is completely new in SMM2. The castle of Peach (Aw poor Peach, again!) spontaneously disappeared in thin air. I guess we don't know why or how until we can play the complete game on June 28. Anyway, in Story Mode you change from Mario the plumber to Bob the Builder (Can we make it? Yes we can!), because you are going to help rebuild the castle. The Toads are a good people, but not stupid. They need Coins for rebuilding the castle. So goody two-shoes Mario is going to do everything to collect the required Coins.New enemies and obstacles
In SMM 2 you can go wild with all the new enemies and obstacles. For example, you can adjust the speed of the level and use transparent tubes next to the classical green pipelines. Create these see-through pipelines in your level to make it a little more challenging. Enemies also use these tubes, so be careful! Did you know you can also adjust the music per level?Furthermore, enemies are also upgraded! Have you seen the Piranha Creeper already? Make the Piranha Creeper as long as you need it to be and put it in the craziest places! If you can think it, you can make it.
Next to new obstacles and enemies, there is a new item: the Koopa Troopa Car, which suddenly turns your SMM 2 level into a go-kart track.
If you really want to become really good and go deep with the difficulty of your levels, you can first take a few lessons in Yamamoto’s Dojo.
Choose your Super Mario World!
In SMM 2 zijn er zoveel werelden waar je uit kunt kiezen, waar ga jij mee beginnen? Je kunt kiezen uit Super Mario Bros., Super Mario 3, Super Mario World en Super Mario Bros. U. In SMM 2 there are so many worlds to choose from, which one are you going to start with? You can choose from Super Mario Bros., Super Mario 3, Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. YOU.Once you have chosen the world, you can choose a theme. Do you like wandering around in castles or exploring ghost mansions? The following new themes are available in Super Mario Maker 2: Desert, Snow, Forest and Air.
Daarnaast kun je de regels helemaal naar je hand zetten. Customise de goal zoals jij het graag wilt hebben. Ben je altijd slecht geweest om die Goal Pole te bereiken (yep, guilty!), dan kun je een andere doelstelling zetten zoals het verzamelen van 50 coins of alle Dry Bones verslaan.

Forget Nyan cat, here is Mario cat! Explore Super Mario 3D world in cat form. Climb on walls, crab enemies and sneak your way through it. Who doesn’t like Mario cat form?
Online multiplayer
In Course World you can now play online with others. There are different co-op levels: local multiplayer and online multiplayer. You need a Nintendo Switch Online Membership to play online, download levels from other players and upload your own creations.With the multiplayer co-op mode you have to work together online to reach a level. Fortunately, you don't have to be the best: everyone wins if at least 1 person on your team makes it to the end.
