Blood Red Sky (2021 Netflix Original)
Want to start the evening fresh with a German action horror? Look for the title Blood Red Sky in your Netflix account. The scene is mostly on a plane, where the gruesome activities take place. The story revolves around a German widow, Nadja, and her son Elias. Nadja appears to be suffering from leukaemia and takes special medicine for her symptoms. When a group of men seize control over the aeroplane, Nadja does everything in her power to protect her son and save humanity.
Blood Red Sky was released on July 23rd 2021 by Netflix.

Ok, now that the mood has been set with Blood Red Sky, it is time to get freaky with the Fear Street trilogy. The movies are about Shadyside, a little town that has been afflicted with mysterious, devilish powers. Every part is set at a different time.
Part 1. It is the year 1994. For centuries, the village called Shadyside has been afflicted with brutal murders. Deena and her friends are attempting to find the source of these devilish activities. The more they know, the more they realize that they, too, are potential victims of these powers that haunt their beloved home town.
Part 2. The rebellious Ziggy and her picture-perfect sister Cindy are not the best of friends. Despite this, they go to summer camp Nightwing together, based in the cursed town Shadyside. They soon find out that a killer is on the loose and turns summer camp into a bloodbath. They will have to fight to survive during their holiday together.
Part 3. Deena from Fear Street part 1, finds herself in the year 1666, in a town later known as Shadyside. The town is captivated by a witch hunt that marks the beginning of the awful affliction that will haunt the place for years to come. Deena discovers the truth about Sara Fier, who was accused of witchcraft. While Deena is figuring out the origins of Shadyside, she and her friends fight for their lives and the future of Shadyside.
The three films were shot back-to-back and released weekly as Netflix Original Films in July 2021.

After getting some good scares in Fear Street, it is time for the closing movie of this Friday the 13th. On our list: Bird Box. The most thrilling about this movie is the ever unknown power you are up against. You don’t know what it is, only that it will make you go insane and suicidal after seeing this “entity”. The mystery of all this, and having to travel blindfolded as your only safeguard, is the real thrilling part. The story revolves around a woman Malorie and her two children, whom she calls “Boy” and “Girl”. They have to travel down a river to reach a haven.
