What is Assassin’s Creed Shadows for Xbox X|S?

Shadows is the latest game in Ubisoft’s long-running Assassin’s Creed franchise. This game series is focused on the antagonism between two different factions since ancient times. The Templars believe in Order, and scheme to manipulate mankind to their goals. The Assassins, on the other hand, hold that free will is paramount and that every person should be allowed to do as they please and be responsible for their actions. This is the Creed that all Assassins follow: “Nothing is true, everything is permitted”.
Like every game in the series, Shadows has a very detailed historical setting, this time in feudal Japan. Having fictional protagonists interact with real historical figures and events has been a staple in AC games since the beginning. Being able to meet real characters and explore (or climb) existing architecture never stops being intriguing, even after almost 20 years and over a dozen games.

What is included in AC Shadows Standard Edition?

Does Shadows have any new features?

Coming out four years after the previous game (not counting the AC Mirage spinoff), Shadows is sure to have some new features never before seen in the series. • Dual Protagonists: players can choose to play as a strong samurai or as an agile ninja for most of the story, with very different approaches to the gameplay.
• Dynamic weather: the weather in AC Shadows is subject to change and evolve with the passing of time, altering the environment drastically each season.
• Clue-based assassinations: as an option to improve immersiveness, players can opt to avoid clear markers directing them to the target, and rely on clues found in the environment to identify their victim.
