What is Code Vein II?
Code Vein 2 is an action/adventure game, the sequel to the acclaimed Code Vein from 2019. Actually, “sequel” is too big a word, since the story is completely separated from the first game and takes place in a distant future, with totally different characters and hardships. After untold years, the vampiric Revenants have reached a point of coexistence with the humans, but the appearance of the Luna Rapacis (Preying Moon) transformed Revenants into mindless monsters called Horrors. The main character will travel back in time with the help of the mysterious girl Lou, in search of a way to prevent the catastrophe.
What happened in the first Code Vein game?
In a future, post-apocalyptic world, the Revenants exist, undead vampiric beings that require human blood in order to keep their sanity and avoid turning into the Lost, frenzied mindless cannibals. The first game revolved around a group of Revenants' search for a stable supply of blood amid many obstacles and failed attempts. It was an action game that received good praise for its combat and art style.
Can I play Code Vein II without playing Code Vein?
