What is Dragon Age: The Veilguard for Xbox Series X|S?
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the fourth main installment in the Dragon Age RPG series, and it’s the first new game we’ve seen in a decade, following Dragon Age: Inquisition from 2014. Just like its predecessors, Veilguard offers a rich world with several rival factions, epic romances, dangerous monsters, and hidden treasures. Your mission? Find allies and build a squad, the "Veilguard," to battle the forces of evil and save the world. As with all Dragon Age games, player choices are key, so expect your decisions to have long-lasting impacts on the game world.
What’s the story of Dragon Age?
In the world of Thedas, people are haunted by a constant threat: the Darkspawn. These corrupted creatures constantly search for Archdemons, ancient Old Gods that were banished long ago. When they find one, it triggers a Blight, a massive invasion that could destroy the world if not stopped. In the first game, players managed to prevent the Fifth Blight, but now, following the events of the last game, two more Old Gods have escaped their prison and once again it’s up to you to save the world.
