What is Grand Theft Auto VI Ultimate Edition?

Grand Theft Auto VI Ultimate Edition offers the most complete version of Rockstar Games' latest open-world crime adventure. The story follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, two criminals whose lives become intertwined when a job that initially seems simple turns into a much bigger problem. Drawn into a criminal conspiracy spanning the state of Leonida, they must depend on one another to survive the dangers ahead.
GTA 6 brings players back to Vice City, now part of the much larger state of Leonida. The adventure stretches beyond the city's famous nightlife and neon-lit streets, taking you to tropical islands, coastal communities, swamps and remote wilderness. Alongside the full game, the Ultimate Edition adds a selection of exclusive vehicles, weapons, outfits, businesses and other bonuses that become available during the story. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on 19 November 2026 for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

Explore Vice City and the state of Leonida

Vice City is the centre of the action, but there's an entire state waiting beyond its borders. Discover the tropical islands of the Leonida Keys, explore the weathered coastal streets of Port Gellhorn, venture into the marshes of Grassrivers or travel through the rugged surroundings of Mount Kalaga National Park. Each destination offers a different glimpse of life in Leonida.
During their journey, Jason and Lucia cross paths with all kinds of characters, from ambitious entrepreneurs and local celebrities to dangerous criminals and eccentric residents. Inspired by present-day Florida, Rockstar's fictional state mixes luxury and entertainment with the unpredictable and sometimes bizarre aspects of everyday life.

What extras do you get with GTA 6 Ultimate Edition?

GTA VI Ultimate Edition contains the complete game plus the Ultimate Edition Upgrade, which adds a variety of bonus content to Jason and Lucia's adventure. These extras are integrated into the main story rather than forming a separate campaign, and certain items and locations become accessible as you advance through the game.
Among the included bonuses are special vehicles such as the '95 Grotti Cheetah, Jason's Safehouse Vehicles, the Shitzu Squalo and several classic cars. The edition also features Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers, customised weapon variants and Vice City Styles. Additional businesses and locations include Rideout Customs Mod Shop, Sara's Unisex Salon, Stock 305 Clothing Store and Electric Fang Tattoo Parlor.

What features does GTA VI offer on Xbox?

Grand Theft Auto 6 combines an extensive open world with a new story of crime, ambition and survival. Follow Jason and Lucia as they navigate Leonida's criminal underworld, drive through the busy streets of Vice City and explore the towns, beaches and natural landscapes found across the state.
Developed for the current generation of consoles, GTA VI takes advantage of Xbox Series X|S hardware to deliver richly detailed environments and a more immersive world. Whether you're following the main storyline or exploring Leonida at your own pace, the game promises a new generation of Rockstar's signature open-world experience.

What is different in GTA 6 compared to GTA V?

Rockstar Games is taking the Grand Theft Auto series into a new era, with a fresh setting, two new protagonists and a world designed for modern consoles. Some of the main differences include:

Rediscover Vice City, completely rebuilt for a new Grand Theft Auto adventure.
Travel across the state of Leonida, with varied locations far beyond the city limits.
Follow the interconnected stories of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
Encounter a new cast of criminals, entertainers, business owners and other colourful personalities.
Explore a contemporary setting where social media and digital culture are part of daily life.
Enjoy more detailed landscapes, cities and environments thanks to current-generation hardware.
Play GTA VI on Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, with the Ultimate Edition's additional content.
