What is 2XKO?

2XKO is Riot Games’ newest fighting game, developed for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. The early access PC version is already playable, and the full console versions are on the way. An official release date has not been announced yet, but it seems it won’t be long before console gamers can go all out with the f2f game 2XKO.
When it comes to gameplay, 2XKO is reminiscent of top titles like Tekken, Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, but with a fresh Riot Games twist. The game looks amazing thanks to its smooth cel-shaded graphics, and the name says it all: “two by knock-out” gameplay, so get ready for some serious fighting action. You can battle one-on-one or choose a tag team fight (2 versus 2), where strategy and teamwork are key. Riot has designed the game to appeal to both beginners and experienced fighting game fans, whether you just want to pull off flashy combos or dive deep into the mechanics, 2XKO offers plenty of depth.

League of Legends, but as a fighting game

What really makes 2XKO unique is that it takes place in the universe of League of Legends and the Netflix series Arcane. That means familiar faces from the region of Runeterra make their appearance in the battle arena, including Ahri, Darius, Yasuo and Ekko. These fighting characters are all iconic champions from LoL and also Arcane. They’ve now all been remade into spectacular fighters in 2XKO. In total, you can choose from 11 playable fighters in this f2f title, who will all seem quite familiar if you’ve played League of Legends or watched Arcane on Netflix.

• Katarina (LoL 2009) - A ruthless assassin with razor-sharp blades. She is extremely fast and aggressive.
• Ahri (LoL 2011) - The fox mage who uses illusion and charm to deceive her opponents.
• Darius (LoL 2012) - The brutal Noxus general with a giant axe and raw power.
• Yasuo (LoL 2013) - The samurai wind warrior with his signature sword and wind attacks.
• Jinx (LoL 2013) - A mad inventor, chaotic villain, and a familiar face from Arcane.
• Ekko (LoL 2015) - A brilliant inventor with his Z-Drive that can manipulate time. He’s fast, smart and strategic.
