Steam has a lot of different sales during the year, with different themes. The biggest and most popular sales are always the Seasonal Sales, that as the name implies take place in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. On this page we are having a closer look at the Winter Sale.

When is the Steam Winter Sale in 2025?

Seasonal sales happen more or less at the same time each year, but the dates are not fixed. In 2025 the Winter sale will run from December 18 to January 5.

Why is winter a great time for gaming?
