What is paysafe?
Paysafe is a secure alternative to a credit card, as your purchases are almost anonymous and your credit card cannot be stolen or hacked. Pay easily, quickly, but above all very securely directly with a paysafe card or add prepaid credit to your digital wallet on the paysafe website to pay online for the products or services you purchase. There are now a large number of websites, for example online shops, that accept paysafe online as a means of payment.
How does paysafe work?
Below you can find out how paysafe works, such as how long a paysafe prepaid code is valid and how to check your balance in your paysafe account.
How long is a paysafe code valid?
Paysafe cards are generally valid for up to 1 month from the date of purchase, but customers who use a paysafe prepaid code, but have not created a paysafe account, can have their paysafe code revalidated for an additional fee of 3 euros if it has not been redeemed or used up within 30 days of purchase. This 3 euros will be charged monthly until the prepaid code credit is fully spent, so creating a paysafe account is advisable.
Which websites accept paysafe as a means of payment?
On the paysafe website, you can see where this payment method is accepted. You can pay with paysafe at Steam, Xbox, Microsoft and the Google Play Store, among others.
Please note: the total list of paysafe affiliated websites can be found on the paysafe website after logging into your account. This may differ per country.
How will I receive my new paysafe credit?
You will not receive a physical paysafe card from us, but you will receive a 16-digit code in your email inbox when you buy such a prepaid card from us.
How can you check your paysafe balance?
You can check your paysafe balance in 2 ways.
- To check your paysafe balance, go to the paysafe website. Here you can enter the 16-digit code of the paysafe card you bought from Gamecardsdirect.
- You can also check your balance by logging into your paysafe account.
Can you transfer paysafe funds to your bank account?
Yes, you can transfer your paysafe credit to a bank account via your account with this payment method. Go to the relevant paysafe website page here.

Code not received?
If you don't receive your code within 10 minutes, check your spam folder, promotional folder or your 'Other Messages' tab to be sure. It is possible that the email has ended in there.
For some payment methods we use an extra check. Keep in mind that it will take a bit longer before you receive your order. This is the case with:
- PayPal payments (maximum 24 hours);
- Credit card payments (maximum 24 hours)

This product can only be used for Dutch accounts. However, the Paysafe PIN code can be used directly as a payment method at numerous webshops/websites. This code is non-refundable. The right of return expires upon receipt of the code. For any payment offered in currencies other than Euro, the currency will be converted into Euro, taking into account the exchange rates applicable on that date.
If the PIN is lost, you will not receive a new code. In case of suspicion of fraud, deliberate or gross negligence on the part of the customer, Paysafe may choose to block the account. In this case, please contact Paysafe by phone or e-mail (info@paysafecard.com). Do you have questions about redeeming your code or have you not received your code within 10 minutes? Your right to cancel purchases and request a refund depends on the type of product you have purchased from Gamecardsdirect. In principle, the purchase of digital products and digital content is final. This means that, as a rule, no refund will be given unless required by local law or supplier of the specific gift or game card. For all other products, your right of withdrawal expires upon receipt of the code. Digital content that you cannot cancel includes, but is not limited to: Wallet upgrades, games, game extras, subscriptions, shopping gift cards, call credit, prepaid credit, and crypt currency.
I didn't receive the code within 10 minutes
If you didn't receive your code within 10 minutes, the email may have ended up in your spam folder. Therefore always check your spam/advertisement/promotional folder. It's also possible that we perform an extra check for certain payment methods, which makes it take a bit longer before you receive your code. This will never be more than 24.
As long as we haven't sent you the code yet, you can of course change your mind and cancel your order. You have 30 days to change your mind, or until you receive your code.
When do I receive my code?
When purchasing a product, the amount always has to be paid in advance, you will then receive your order by email. Something not correct in the payment details? Please let us know. Note that we are not responsible for incomplete telephone payments. Make sure you have enough credit on your phone to complete the payment successfully. Incomplete telephone payments will not be reimbursed.
The voucher code is not redeemable for cash and cannot be resold or otherwise exchanged. It will not be replaced if it is lost, stolen or otherwise used without your consent. Can only be used once.

How can I redeem my PaysafeCard?
You can redeem paysafe cards in various ways, either through your paysafe account, in a 'digital wallet' form, or directly through the websites that accept paysafe as a payment method.
Please note that to use paysafe payment, you must register for a paysafe account.
How can I redeem my paysafe credit via my paysafe account?
- Go to the paysafe website.
- Click on the 'Login' button in the top right-hand corner.
- Enter your login details and password.
- Click on 'Add credit'.
- Enter the 16-digit paysafe card code you purchased from us and your new credit has been added to your account.
How do I pay directly on a website that accepts paysafe?
- Go to a website that accepts paysafe as a payment method, e.g. an online shop.
- Choose 'paysafe' in the payment process and enter the 16-digit paysafe card code you bought from us to pay for your purchase.
