If you have activated a membership using a Nintendo Switch Online gift card and have no other payment methods linked to your account, the subscription will be terminated once the subscription term has ended. This way, it is not necessary to cancel your subscription since it will not be automatically renewed. However, it is not possible to pause or prematurely stop the membership until the subscription term has ended.
