Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar is a cosy single-player farming/life sim in which you build a new life in the mountain village of Zephyr Town. You grow crops, care for animals and build relationships with the residents, while helping to bring the village’s once famous market back to life. What makes this game special is that you do not simply sell your products: you run your own stall at the bazaar every week, where you actively trade and try to maximise your profit. In addition, wind plays a major role in the gameplay, for example to travel faster or create new items, which gives the game a unique twist within the farming sim genre.
Incidentally, Story of Seasons used to be called “Harvest Moon”, but after a split between developer Marvelous and publisher Natsume, the original Harvest Moon series continued under a new name.
