What is Diablo?

Diablo is one of the most popular action RPG video game franchises ever created. What’s the story of Diablo IV?

The story of Diablo 4 sees the return of Lilith, Daughter of Hatred and Mother of humanity, from an age-long imprisonment. She wastes no time in pushing nearby humans to madness, stripping everything good and just from them, with the final goal of gaining total control of Sanctuary and Hell. It is the player’s task to follow her tracks and prevent her plan from coming to fruition.

Which Diablo IV expansions are available?

While the base Diablo IV game tells a complete story, it leaves some loose threads to be explored in later expansions. The first Diablo IV expansion was Vessel of Hatred, where the player can travel to the new region of Nahantu, armed with a new character class and new game mechanics, to search for a girl who may just be the most important person in the world. The second expansion, Lord of Hatred, is scheduled to come in the first half of 2026, and is focused on the return of the Prime Evil Mephisto, father of Lilith. It includes a new class and adds even more gameplay twists for an all-new experience.
