Gears of War: E-Day, what is it?
Gears of War: E-Day for Xbox Series X/S and Windows 10 is a challenging third-person shooter that returns to the iconic, original Gears of War saga. Return to the doomed world of Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago during Emergence Day, the day when hordes of Locust descended on Earth and plunged humanity into war. With its gripping story, challenging gameplay and stunning graphics, the story of this title is brought to life once again. This game is not a remake, but a completely new game, as well as a prequel to the first Gears of War game that was released in 2006 for the Xbox 360.
Fight the emerging Locust Horde and save humanity from destruction. Use weapons such as the Lancer with chainsaw and the Gnasher Shotgun, but also make clever use of cover and work together with others to emerge victorious from battles. This version of Gears of War is accessible to both newcomers and seasoned Gears of War players, both will find plenty of challenges in the gameplay and story.
Play in both solo and multiplayer mode
You can play Gears of War: E-Day either alone or together with one other person in local or online co-op mode. You experience the story through playable characters Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago, while you fight the Locust Horde together. You can also take part in Horde Siege mode with a total of four players or battle against each other in Versus multiplayer.
