What is MotoGP 25?

MotoGP, made by developer Milestone, is an acclaimed franchise of bike racing games based on the real-world moto racing. The series is popular among fans for its great gameplay and accurate physics behaviour. This game is the 2025 edition, for the Xbox One, and features several updates and improvements over last year’s release, in addition to the usual care to stay true to the real Grand Prix.

What is new in this game?

The first obvious difference, as expected, is the roster of riders and bikes available, which is updated to the 2025 season of real MotoGP. The game has been upgraded to Unreal Engine 5, providing even better graphics than last year’s iteration. MotoGP 25 lets you experience all the teams, riders and tracks in the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 categories, with the usual realism and attention to detail, where you can customize you bike down to the last nut and bolt. But this year it is possible to use the -totally optional- Arcade mode, which lets you enjoy the thrill of the race without having to dive into too many technicalities. That is great news for less experienced riders, or anyone who just wants to race without having to deal with a full-scale simulation.
Another important innovation are the training sessions. Just like in real life, riders need to constantly hone their skills to stay competitive. In MotoGP 25 you can, too, by entering training sessions in the Motard, Flat Track and Minibikes disciplines. A refreshing change of pace from championship racing, and it will improve your stats too!
