Borderlands 3 Children of the Vault

Come face to face with the enemy

Somewhere at the edge of the galaxy, a group of planets resides that is overrun with military corporations. Despite the violence and loot that can be found on these planets, this part of the galaxy will be your home for the forthcoming period. And you will not be bored, as there is a new enemy, or should I say, two enemies. The twins Troy and Tyreen Calypso and the leaders of the media cult The Children of the Vault and have to be stopped no matter what. It is up to the Vault Hunters to save the galaxy from destruction.

Guns, guns and even more guns

If you have read our intro, or read about it on the internet, you would know that Borderlands 3 will have an insane number of guns; there will be over 1 billion! Think of guns with legs, guns that shoot exploding sawblades and guns that do not even have to be reloaded. You decide the outcome of a fight by choosing the right weapons.

Get to know the four Vault Hunters

To save the galaxy and stop the Children of The Vault, four unique characters known as the Vault Hunters are enlisted. Get to know the heroes of Borderlands 3:

Amara is also known as the champion of the people and a true badass at that. She holds the powerful Siren abilities that she can use to take down enemies in close proximity. With her Phaseslam action skill, she can virtually send opponents flying by slamming down her 6 extra fists. Her Phasegrasp skill is useful to keep an enemy locked in place with a giant fist. And lastly, she can deal damage to anything in her path with her Phasecast by sending out a projection of herself.

Zane is a ‘retired’ hitman that always has a few useful gadgets ready. His full name, Zane Flynt, might sound familiar to you. That is because he is the younger brother of the notorious bandits Captain and Baron Flynt, two characters you have already met in Borderlands 1 and 2. But it appears Zane has chosen the good side in this story. One of his gadgets is a Sentinel drone that can take out enemies from above. He also has a Barrier shield and Digi-Clone that can distract enemies and he has the ability to teleport between the two.

Moze is a former soldier that has gotten used to the battlefield by now. Before her squad was ambushed during a suicide mission, she fought for the weapon merchant Vladof. As a veteran, she has gathered enough experience from fighting at the warfront on planets all over the galaxy. When things get heated, she can always rely on Iron Bear, a mech tank fitted with Miniguns, Grenade launchers, Flamethrowers and more.

FL4K the Beastmaster is a wandering robot that is never alone; he always takes one of his three loyal furry friends with him. These animals use their killer instinct to take out opponents. Spiderant (a large armoured spider/ant), Skag (a large dog-like creature with 3 jaws) and Jabber (an I-have-no-idea-what-that-is) will always stand by FL4K’s side during combat.

Split-screen gaming is not dead

Borderlands 3 will have a split-screen co-operative mode with 2 players! Unfortunately, this is not possible on PC, but it is for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. In addition, you can also choose to play the online co-op with a maximum of 4 players. There are many ways to play Borderlands 3, with or without friends, both online and offline.
