Based on the award-winning historical manga by Tomato Soup, the anime is produced by Science SARU, the acclaimed studio behind DAN DA DAN and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, and stands out for its unusual historical setting and striking visual style.

Produced by Kinema Citrus to celebrate the studio's 15th anniversary, the series combines fairy tale elements with contemporary drama, beautiful animation and emotional storytelling.

Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You is a heartwarming slice-of-life romance about two overworked adults who find comfort in each other's company. Tired salaryman Sasaki always looks forward to seeing the cheerful supermarket cashier Yamada, but after one shift he meets the cool and mysterious Tayama behind the store during a cigarette break. Unaware that Yamada and Tayama are actually the same person, Sasaki slowly forms a unique bond with her. Based on Jinushi's award-winning manga, which won the 2022 Next Manga Award, the series stands out for its mature cast, subtle humour and refreshingly realistic take on romance.

Produced by Studio EEK, the anime is one of the most anticipated manhwa adaptations coming to Crunchyroll.

Mebius Dust
