What is Star Wars?

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a wonderful cinematic universe was set in motion. Star Wars' central narrative focuses on the eternal conflict between the Jedi Knights, champions of the Force, and the Sith Lords, servants of the Dark Side. The saga consists of 9 movies grouped in 3 trilogies, and an uncountable number of spinoff movies, TV series, books and games. What content is included in Star Wars Outlaws Standard Edition for Xbox?

This is the Standard Edition of the game for the Xbox Series X|S, so the only content included is the game itself. We have two other versions you could choose at Gamecardsdirect: the Gold Edition and the Ultimate Edition, each with its own set of extra content. We also have the Season Pass, which you can add to this Standard Edition of the game at later time, to obtain most of the other versions’ extra content.

What kind of game is Star Wars Outlaws?

Star Wars Outlaws is an open-world game, the first of its kind set in the Star Wars Universe, aiming to provide players with an immersive experience in the outlaw underworld of the much-loved saga. The game is set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, at a time when the Empire seems to have conquered all opposition and the Rebel Alliance is hiding, biding its time. Players will control young scoundrel Kay Vess and her pet companion Nix, who will navigate the criminal underworld of the galaxy looking to assemble a team to perform a great heist in order to pay off her debt. The action steers away from the Force conflicts, there are no Jedis in sight, and Kay acts more like a green, inexperienced Han Solo than any all-powerful, self-righteous hero. Players are given freedom to explore as they like, and most missions can be completed in a variety of different ways. it’s possible to sneak to the objective unseen or to persuade/bribe some relevant character. It’s also possible to go in guns blazing, but it’s rarely a wise approach - or fun. The game is playable on Xbox series X|S.

There are several factions in the Galaxy’s criminal underworld, and each player’s decision will improve or lower Kay’s reputation with them. Having a high reputation with a faction usually means access to otherwise restricted areas and specific items becoming available to buy, while a low reputation makes things harder - a hostile faction may even put a bounty on your head! Your actions will shape the world around you, but loyalty is very fluid in this world and you can always regain good standing with a faction, or betray them. Be warned, they’re as likely to betray you!
