What is Anno 117: Pax Romana?
Anno 117 is the latest chapter in the “Anno…” game series. This is the base version of the game without any extra content. In this title for Xbox Series X and S, you create your own version of the Roman Empire in the year 117 AD. Make your empire thrive through the strategic use of your economic knowledge, diplomatic skills, and military power. You are in control and must prove yourself worthy of ruling your own Roman Empire.

What type of games are the Anno… titles?
The Anno… games are typical strategic city-building and simulation games where you start with a flat piece of land and then develop it into a prosperous city or other thriving region. As ruler, you decide what needs to be done, but not without listening to your citizens to meet their various needs. These types of games are always a combination of city-building, trade, diplomacy, and military strategy.
What multiplayer options are available?
There are three ways to play, depending on the number of participants.
- Solo – Anno 117 has a solo mode in which you play against the game’s A.I.
- Co-op Campaign – Play as a team with up to four players.
- Player-versus-Player/Team – Up to four individual players, and in team format with up to sixteen participants (i.e. 4-versus-4-versus-4-versus-4).
