What is Diablo?
One of the most popular video game franchises in the world, Diablo has set the standard for dungeon-crawling action RPGs since its inception. Featuring epic stories of angels and demons, with humanity caught in the conflict between the two, the Diablo games are set in the world of Sanctuary, where players battle hordes of demons and hostile creatures using heroes of various classes such as barbarian, archer or mage. The franchise consists of four games, the latest of which, Diablo IV, was released in 2023 and changed the game formula to an open world, modernising the gameplay. Vessel of Hatred is the first major paid expansion for Diablo IV.

What is new in the Vessel of Hatred expansion?
Vessel of Hatred picks up where the main story of Diablo IV left off. We don't want to go into too much detail so as not to spoil the main story of the game, but suffice it to say that players will have to travel to the southern part of the continent, to a place called Nahantu, where they will discover new cities and ancient civilisations, as well as a whole host of new enemies. There will be new mercenaries to recruit, who will grow in power as you do, and who will aid you in battle with powerful abilities. The Dark Citadel will await players looking for an extreme challenge, requiring them to work together to overcome the difficult trials within.
Enter the Spiritborn class!
The Spiritborn is a new class introduced in Vessel of Hatred. Blessed with great agility, the Spiritborn is the Nahantu jungle's apex predator, fighting with glaives and polearms. But that's not all - when the situation calls for it, the Spiritborn can channel the immense power of the four Spirit Guardians to obliterate anything in their path!
