Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the fourth major game in the Dragon Age RPG series and the first new release in a decade since Dragon Age: Inquisition back in 2014. Like the other games in the franchise, Veilguard offers a deeply detailed world full of warring factions, complex romances, dangerous monsters, and hidden treasures. Your mission? To gather allies and build a team—known as the Veilguard—to fight against the forces of evil and save the world. What is the story of Dragon Age?
In the world of Thedas, people constantly face a recurring danger. Darkspawn—corrupted creatures—are always searching for an Archdemon, which is the embodiment of one of the Old Gods who were banished long ago. When they find one, it triggers a Blight, a massive invasion that threatens to destroy the world unless it's stopped. In the first game, players managed to prevent the Fifth Blight, but now, thanks to the events of the last game, two more Old Gods have escaped. And once again, it's up to you to save the world!
