At the E3 2019, EA provided us with info about the new FIFA 20, which will be released on September 27th 2019! The thing we are most excited about is a new game mode: Volta Football mode. Take your game to the streets and enjoy playing at famous locations all over the world. Are you ready to play FIFA 20?
FIFA 20 will be released on 27 september 2019 for Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
FIFA 20 will be the 27th edition (see what they did there?) of the best selling football game, the first edition was released in 1993 (titled as FIFA International Soccer). The game will be released on Friday the 27th of September. However, you can pre-order the Champions or Ultimate Edition and play three days before release! There are three Editions of FIFA 20 available:
- Standard Edition
- Champions Edition
- Ultimate Edition
With the Standard Edition (€59,99), you receive up to 3 FIFA 20 Ultimate Team Rare Gold Packs, get the option to choose one mid-version ICON Items for 5 FUT matches and Special Edition FUT tenues. New game mode: Volta Football
The Volta Football game mode, a successor to the FIFA Street-series, is really something to look forward to. With this, EA Sports goes back to its roots of urban culture and creativity that comes with street football. Decide who you want to play with and go to famous locations all over the world, such as London, Amsterdam or Tokyo. You can travel the world and see the most beautiful locations, perfect for a game of street soccer!
You can play 3v3, 4v4 or 5v5. Choose to play within walls, or create a unique player to go through the whole VOLTA story.
Controls and gameplay
The movement and gameplay has improved even more. Switching between players will be more smooth and feels more intelligent. You will feel more in control of the characters and ball control is even more realistic.
EA announced that A.I. defending will be renewed, making NPC playing more human-like rather than superhuman athletes. They make mistakes too. Time to use that to your advantage!
Another thing that will be better and more realistic, are the weather circumstances. Weather can negatively affect ground speed, passing accuracy and chance of injuries.
