Keep a close eye on the latest announcements regarding your favourite and long-awaited games during Gamescom 2019! We are looking forward to a number of games and also see some unexpected games coming in that show great potential. We will discuss the biggest announcements with you in this blog.
Death Stranding
The first trailer that we saw a while back (the one with the baby holding up his hand) raised a lot of questions. Who is the baby? Was it the announcement for the new PS5 or perhaps a new game? Now we know that this trailer was an announcement of Death Stranding, a new game by creative author Hideo Kojima. At the opening night of Gamescom, he showed us a short gameplay demo that raised even more questions, to be honest. What we do know for sure is that the game will be available for the PS4 and PC from November 8, 2019. In any case, we see that it contains a baby named BB, and it's an open-world action game.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep
The new expansion of Destiny 2 will come out in October, but at Gamescom, we can already see more of what is to come. The story remains a bit mysterious, but in the cinematics we see Vex, a robot race with a collective hive mind, getting ready for a new war. Bungie will no longer make the PC version of Destiny 2 available via the Battle.net app, but Destiny 2 will be available via Steam. Current players can transfer their progress to the Steam version as soon as the launch of Shadowkeep has taken place.

Gears 5
The small reboot of the Gears series is getting closer and closer. On Gamescom, Microsoft revealed more about the 'horde' mode, in which 4 players have to survive as a team while they fight off their enemies. Gears 5 will be released on September 10, 2019 only on Xbox One.

Ori and the Blind Forest
Ori is not a new game, but it will soon be available on Nintendo, too! You can start playing the game on your Switch from 27 September 2019. Nice timing for the sequel of the game, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, which will be released for PC and Xbox One on February 2020. Will it be for Nintendo available? Who knows...
Cyberpunk 2077
We have only seen a small part of Cyberpunk 2077, but that does not stop our colleagues from being enthusiastic. They are looking forward to this game and have high expectations.
