Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro
Can’t imagine someone who’s not familiar with Pinocchio, the wooden puppet who turns into a real boy. No matter if you know the story by means of the endearing Disney movie or because you’ve read the original -considerably darker- novel by 19th-century writer Carlo Collodi. This movie by Guillermo del Toro deviates from the classic story and goes out of its way to surprise the viewers with its setting in fascist Italy and many twists and turns. But it’s still Pinocchio in the end!
The Man from Toronto
By some unfortunate twist of luck Teddy, an unlucky businessman, is mistaken for a deadly assassin. This is the beginning of many misadventures for him. The real killer now wants him to keep up the impersonation in order to retrieve an important item. Will Teddy survive the ordeal? Good-natured dark fun for the whole family.

Uncharted
Inspired by the popular PlayStation videogame series, Uncharted tells the story of the young treasure hunter Nathan Drake, a descendant of the famous explorer/pirate sir Francis Drake, and his mentor Sully. Their quest for Magellan’s treasure will take them all around the world in a whirlwind of fights, high-speed chases and explosions. Still, the greatest mystery is: what happened to Sully’s iconic moustache?
Klaus
Learn the “true” origins of the legend of Santa Claus with this animated movie about a mailman who strikes an uneasy friendship with a gruff toymaker. There is snow, there are reindeer, there are presents, but the real magic is in the little things that any ordinary person can do. A nice, fun movie suitable for children and grown-ups, perfect for a nice holiday evening.
