What is the story of The Outer Worlds 2?

The Outer Worlds 2 is the sequel to the successful first instalment of this popular game. This second part is coming to Xbox Series X/S and Windows 10 (PC). Immerse yourself in an engaging world in this first-person sci-fi RPG, where your choices and actions determine whether Arcadia is saved from destruction. Besides saving the world, the gameplay also focuses on exploration, strategy, and making crucial decisions.
You take on the role of a brave Earth Directorate commander who travels to Arcadia, a planet where mysterious skip drive technology controls life. The fate of Arcadia, the colony living there, and even the galaxy lies entirely in your hands. Fight alongside your faction against hostile corporations and (religious) organizations that want to subjugate and destroy Arcadia. As rifts and conflicts push the planet further toward war, you are Arcadia’s last hope.
