All about the new Xbox Game Pass for PC
Last June, the Xbox Game Pass for PC was revealed during the Xbox briefing at E3, which is a subscription that gives you access to a game library full of PC games. Perhaps this is the first time you have heard about it, or maybe you want to know more about it. Then you have come to the right place; in this blog post we will explain what exactly the Xbox Game Pass for PC is and what you can expect from this subscription.
First things first, what is the Xbox Game Pass for PC?
The Xbox Game Pass for PC is Microsoft’s new subscription model that shows many similarities with the ‘regular’ Xbox Game Pass for the Xbox One. This too, is a subscription with which you get unlimited access to a game library op your Windows 10 computer or laptop for a set period. It does not have the exact same lineup as the Xbox, but you can play over a 100 high-quality PC games instead.
When is the Xbox Game Pass for PC available?
The Xbox Game Pass for PC is currently in the Beta phase that is available for everyone. For €3,99 per month, you get access to the Xbox Beta app on your Windows 10 PC and can get started with the 100+ games that are waiting for you in the library. Go to the Xbox website to get started.
Which games can I play on my PC with the Xbox Game Pass?
The expansive game library of the Xbox Game Pass for PC already shows a lot of promise. There are many popular AAA games and up-and-coming indie games in the long list. We are most enthusiastic about the following games:

How long does it take for a new game to become available on the Xbox Game Pass for PC?
We do not yet know how long it will take for a new game to be added to the Xbox Game Pass for PC library. But do not worry, Microsoft has already confirmed that several new games from Xbox Game Studios will be ready to play on the Xbox Game Pass for PC on the day of the release (yes, really!). Think of Gears 5 (10 September 2019), Halo Infinite (2020), Ori and the Will of the Wisps (11 February 2020) and other highly anticipated Microsoft games!
How do I purchase an Xbox Game Pass for PC?
At the moment you can purchase the Xbox Game Pass for PC Beta using a prepaid gift card. Make use of our Xbox Gift Card to add credit to your Microsoft balance.
