What is Fire Emblem: Engage?

This turn-based action RPG adventure is a new entry in the stories of the Fire Emblem game series. In Engage, you enter strategic turn-based battles against enemies. With your Emblem (the heroes from the Fire Emblem games) you use terrain, the individual and combined skills of your teammates, and their positioning on the grid-based battlefields of this game to emerge victorious every time.

What is this game about?

Fire Emblem: Engage is set on the doomed continent of Elyos. The Fell Dragon, Sombron, is awakening, and you take on the role of the Divine Dragon, Alear. You’ll join forces with legendary heroes, also known as “Emblems”, to turn the tide for Elyos.

So what features does Fire Emblem: Engage have?

This title has many different features.

• Lead your troops - Take command of the Divine Dragon's army in countless tactical turn-based battles across the continent of Elyos. Think carefully about your moves and send your heroes - each with their own weapons and unique abilities - to victory.
• No battle is the same - Each fight demands a unique tactic and plan. Use the terrain cleverly, make use of your heroes’ special skills, and choose their positions carefully to overpower the enemy on the grid-based battlefields.
• Collect the Emblem Rings - Use the rings to summon the legendary warriors known as Emblems. Each of these heroes has their own weapons and special skills, and by fusing with them you unlock even more powerful attacks.
• Give your heroes Emblem Rings - This way, they can make a difference in battle with their powers! As your bond with the Emblems grows, you gradually unlock new abilities.
• The importance of the weapon triangle - Each weapon has an advantage over another: swords beat axes, axes are stronger than spears, and spears have the upper hand over swords. If you attack with the right weapon, you can temporarily ‘break’ an enemy and prevent them from launching a counterattack.
• Adjust the experience to your playstyle - Choose from different difficulty levels and modes. Choose from Normal, Hard, or Maddening, or enable Auto-Battle for a more relaxed adventure.
