What kind of game is Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a fantastic 3D action-platformer starring Kirby, the iconic Nintendo pink puffball with the power to absorb enemy abilities. In this successful game for the Nintendo Switch, Kirby is transported to a post-apocalyptic world where he is tasked with saving the innocent Waddle Dees kidnapped by the evil Beast Pack. To help in his endeavour, Kirby gets a new power: the Mouthful Mode. It allows Kirby to stretch himself over certain world objects, like traffic cones or cars, acquiring some of their properties. The Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade makes the game even more beautiful to look at, with higher resolution graphics and a higher framerate.

What is the Star-Crossed World addition?

Star-Crossed World is a whole new game mode, exclusive to the Switch 2 version of the game. It is a separate story that plays in the same levels as the base game, but alters the paths and introduces new, more powerful enemies. In a way, with this upgrade you can double your playtime! Several new Mouthful modes like the Spring have also been added, making the traversal of levels even more fun and exciting.
