What is Live a Live?
The legendary HD-remake of Live a Live for Nintendo’s first Switch and of course also Switch 2 is an action RPG packed with challenging turn-based battles. In this single-player adventure, you play as various playable characters who live and fight in different time periods and also each have their own story. Plenty of challenge for both new and seasoned hardcore RPG gamers.
The time periods in which this adventure takes place
This story takes place in several historical time periods. You don’t have to play the time periods chronologically. The characters you fight with in the different eras in turn-based battles each have their own powers.
- Prehistory – A young man receives approval from the tribal elder to go hunting. He must rely on his senses to survive. Track animals using your sense of smell, look for shelter and learn about the dangers of your surroundings.
- The Wild West – You are an outlaw in a town controlled by dangerous men. You can’t defeat the bad guys on your own, but if you can get the town you live in on your side…
- The Distant Future – In space, a spaceship crew is stationed. Your stay is endangered by a series of strange incidents. Make sure the evil is driven out and you can escape.
- 5 other time periods – Such as: the Ancient Chinese Empire, the Middle Ages, the present and the near future.

Live a Live was once only released in Japan for the Super Famicom, which we know as the Super Nintendo (SNES). With the remake of this adventure, Live a Live comes to the West for the first time, this time with beautiful 2D HD graphics that have become very popular worldwide in recent years.
