What is New Pokémon Snap?

New Pokémon Snap is a unique game released by Nintendo specifically for the Switch console. This game is based on "Pokémon Snap," which was launched in 1999 for the Nintendo 64. In this new version, you search for Pokémon in their natural habitats and take photos of these creatures, which you save in your Pokédex. Learn more about the Pokémon you encounter and the world they live in. The photos you take, which can also be edited, are evaluated by Professor Mirror, allowing you to progress in the game.

What type of game is this?

This game is an action-adventure. Although you don’t make Pokémon battle each other in New Pokémon Snap, you explore the game world in a special vehicle. You photograph the more than 200 Pokémon featured in the game, and your photos are evaluated to help you advance. The focus of this game is what makes this Pokémon title so unique.

Can this game be played in multiplayer mode?

You can only play this game solo; there is no multiplayer option.
