What is Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door?

This game is a remake of the original Nintendo Gamecube version from 2004. This game was originally released and is now being re-released by Nintendo. What makes the Paper Mario games unique is that these are action-RPGs with turn-based battles, which means that your playable character grows through playing, and you take turns making moves during battles. Additionally, the graphics of this game are quite special because Super Mario and the world around him are as thin as paper.
The plot of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is the following: along with friends like Toad and Luigi, you discover the treasure hidden behind the Millennium Door in this incredibly funny adventure. To do so, you need to find all seven jewel stars, but you also need to save Princess Peach once again from the hands of various enemies.

Description

After Princess Peach asks for his help on a treasure hunt, Mario heads to the town of Rogueport. But when he arrives, Peach is nowhere to be seen! Upon learning about the legend of the Crystal Stars, Mario sets out to find these mythical treasures and hopefully track down Peach along the way.
Of course, Mario isn't the only one hoping to find the Crystal Stars – and it’s not just Bowser who’s looking to cause trouble this time either! Can our hero find these ancient artifacts, open the Thousand-Year Door and maybe even save the world?
