This game, developed exclusively for the Switch console by Nintendo, lets you explore an expansive, untamed wilderness in a distant past where Pokémon and humans still lived side by side. Observe, catch, and research Pokémon to learn more about these powerful creatures. Play in the stunning Hisui region, talk to new characters, and complete the very first Pokédex of the area. Discover both familiar and new Pokémon, such as Wyrdeer, Kleavor, and Zorua. Unravel the mystery of the legendary Pokémon Arceus and learn about its role in the evolution of various Pokémon. In the game “Arceus,” you can choose one of the following starter Pokémon, each with its unique characteristics:

• Cyndaquil (fire type)
• Oshawott (water type)
• Rowlet (grass type)

Unlike the typical Pokémon game, the focus here isn’t on training or battling each other, but you can still use your Pokémon to help capture wild Pokémon.
