What is Apple Arcade?

Apple Arcade is Apple’s latest gaming subscription that gives you unlimited access to over 100 (arcade) games for a fixed monthly fee. This means; unlimited gaming, a large range of games and the ability to play games offline, all with just one subscription. Besides, your valuable gaming time won’t be disturbed by advertisements and there will be no in-game purchases. In addition to all of this, you can also use your account to log in on any Apple device and continue playing. How much does an Apple Arcade subscription cost?

An Apple Arcade membership costs a mere €4,99 per month. You even get a free first month at the moment! Can I use Apple Arcade with my device?

To make sure you can use Apple Arcade, you will have to check if your device meets the requirements. If you own an iPhone, it is required to have the iOS 13 update, meaning an iPhone 6s or a newer model. The same goes for iPads and Apple TVs; they will have to be updated to iPadOS 13 and tvOS 13. Do you own one of these devices but haven’t had the update yet? Then you can easily do so by opening Settings > General > Software update. Follow the instructions and after instalment, you will see a new tab named “Arcade”.

1. Open the App Store of your iPhone or iPad;
2. Click on the new tab Apple Arcade;
