What is Exoprimal?

Set in the year 2040, Exoprimal is Capcom’s new online, team-based game in which the player fights the most ancient and formidable creatures - dinosaurs. Players assume different roles and operate futuristic exosuits, collaborating in various modes to withstand overwhelming waves of dinosaurs. The world is in crisis as dinosaur outbreaks threaten humanity’s survival, but Aibius, a corporation, offers a glimmer of hope. They have developed an advanced AI named Leviathan, capable of predicting outbreaks.

Alongside Aibius's exosuits, this technology equips humanity with the means to combat the overwhelming dinosaur swarms. Aspiring exofighters, or exosuit pilots, are sought after, urging individuals to partake in the exofighter aptitude test and join the ranks of Aibius's heroic pilots. Together, they strive to prevent the human race from facing extinction.

Teamwork Is the Name of the Game

Exoprimal shines as a co-op experience, encouraging teamwork and strategy. Formulate plans with your friends or join forces with strangers to face the gigantic reptiles together in Exoprimal’s numerous exciting modes. Whether you're providing covering fire for a comrade or working as a unit to topple a towering beast, the success of your mission relies on working together effectively. The game thrives on its dynamic battle scenarios. You’ll face off against a diverse range of dinosaur types, from T-Rexes to Velociraptors, each with their unique behaviors and attack patterns. The battlefield is ever-evolving, and you’ll need to adapt your tactics on the fly and use your exopods wisely to overcome the dinosaur menace.
Keep in mind you’ll need an internet connection to play or if you play it on your Xbox, you’ll need a Xbox Game Pass Core or Ultimate subscription, as Exoprimal is multiplayer only!

Try All The Game Modes

The main mode, Dinosaur Survival, is the story mode, pitting two teams of five against each other in a PvPvE format, competing to complete objectives faster. Other modes include Dinosaur Cull, where squads hunt down specific dinosaurs by luring them out with smaller dino kills, appealing to Monster Hunter fans. VTOL Defense requires players to protect their ship from waves of dinosaurs while it undergoes repairs. Data Key Security follows a capture the flag-style gameplay, with players carrying a data key through the map while fending off carnivores. Omega Charge offers a unique mode, challenging players to defeat gigantic dinosaurs using a charged-up hammer weapon. Lastly, Energy Taker involves players competing against each other to collect the most energy. With this mix of competitive and cooperative content, Exoprimal aims to provide a diverse and engaging dinosaur experience.
