What type of game is League of Legends?
League of Legends (also known as LoL) is a fast game that can only be played online. LoL is often compared to an online game of chess. Two teams of 3 or 5 players compete against each other in a battle to destroy the opponent’s Nexus. Whoever destroys the Nexus first wins the match.
During the game, your character collects gold by attacking, killing and farming. This gold can be used in the game to purchase items like swords, health potions and shields that make your game character stronger and faster.
What are Riot Points?
Riot Points (RP) are the primary in-game currency used to unlock League of Legends in-game content. The other currency is Blue Essence, which can be collected when levelling up. Riot Points are purchased with real money and are only valid in the Riot Store. Riot Points cannot be used to directly affect the gameplay.
